Dagoba Pacuare Organic Dark Chocolate

This cru bar is made entirely with cacao from an exemplary Certified Organic estate in northeastern Costa Rica. Its name was inspired by the Pacuare River, one of Costa Rica’s wildest rivers, which cuts through promordial rainforest gorges that shelter jaguars, ocelots, monkeys and birds. Pacuare’s flavor is mild with low acidity, upfront golden raisin and nuances of caramel. 68% cacao. Kosher-Dairy, KSA, 57g/2oz per bar.

Dagoba Sambirano Organic Dark Chocolate

Dagoba Los Rios Organic Dark Chocolate

The Los Rios region of Ecuador – namesake of this bar and the source of its cacao – is known for exceptional cacao, called Arriba (up river). Arriba derives from the mighty strain Arriba Nacional, which was once abundant but is sadly on the verge of extinction. Dagoba is working directly with a small group of farmers in the region to revive Nacional. Los Rios features upfront cacao, hints of tangerine and red berry, and a balanced astringency that speaks to the dark chocolate connoisseur. 68% cacao. Kosher-Dairy, KSA, 57g/2oz per bar.

Dagoba Milagros Organic Dark Chocolate

At the edge of the Peruivan Amazon lies Tingo Maria, a place where about 2,000 cacao farm workers call home. Located in the tropical region of Yunga, it is a place where the rivers Monzon and Huallago unite, nurturing the tropical flora. 	Dagoba Organic Conacado Varietal Cocoa Bittersweet Chocolate This superb fair trade certified, bittersweet bar is made with 73% cocoa, forest grown on the Conacado Cooperative in the Dominican Republic. Conched for a shorter time than most of Dagoba’s bars, and made without soy lecithin (though it may contain trace soy), the Conacado bar offers a more rustic texture and retains the earthy and deep flavor characteristics of its varietal cocoa.
